My recipe featured in Southern Living. This came from a local caterer. Ingredients:
8 slices bacon |
1 pint fresh select oyster, drained |
garlic salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. 2. Wrap bacon around each oyster, and secure with a wooden pick. 3. Place oysters on broiling pan; sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. 4. Spread 1/8 tsp. 5. mustard on each oyster. 6. Broil oysters about 4 from heat, 2-3 minutes. 7. Turn and broil an additional 2-3 min. 8. or until golden. 9. Yield: about 12 appetizer servings. |
