Try this if you like oysters. Ingredients:
4 cups stale breadcrumbs |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon marjoram |
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
1/4 cup finely diced onion |
1/4 cup finely diced celery |
3 teaspoons butter |
1 cup drained, chopped oyster |
chicken stock or water |
Directions:
1. In a large pot melt butter over medium heat. 2. Add all ingredients except bread and saute for 10 minutes. 3. Add bread crumbs and begin to toss with a fork, slowly adding liquid of choice until stuffing is just moist but not soggy. 4. Stuff the bird. |
