I got this recipe from a friend in Hawaii. She made some incredible spare ribs using this baste. These are minimal instructions, but it's all I have. Cooking time is approximate. Put here for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup oyster sauce |
1/4 cup shoyu (soy sauce) |
1 cup catsup |
2 ounces fresh gingerroot |
Directions:
1. Boil all together until ginger is cooked. 2. Use a basting brush and baste often while grilling. |
