Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter or margarine |
1 tablespoon milk |
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 cup turkey or chicken broth |
1 cup milk |
1 (12-ounce) container fresh select oysters, drained and chopped |
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine butter and 1 tablespoon milk in a heavy saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until butter is melted. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add broth, 1 cup milk, and oysters; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened and bubbly. Stir in parsley and salt. |
