The classic oyster dressing. Cook it the same as any other stuffing; how that's done depends on if you insert into the bird or not, so I've left those specifics out. It can even stand as is, and not need additional baking at all. Ingredients:
20 oysters |
4 c. bread crumbs |
2 tbsp butter |
1 tbsp chopped parsley |
salt & pepper |
Directions:
1. Drain and rinse the oysters, then fry up in the butter. 2. Once cooked, add other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Stir carfeully so that the oysters are not broken. |
