Overnight Pecan Praline French Toast |

This is a great recipe that I obtained from a bed and breakfast owner when we visited there two summers ago. Have made a few times since then and it is always a big hit. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
2 tablespoons light corn syrup |
1 cup chopped pecans |
8 slices extra thick sliced white bread |
6 eggs |
1-1/2 cups milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan. 2. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. 3. Pour into a lightly greased rectangular pan then sprinkle with pecans and top with brad. 4. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over top. 5. Cover and refrigerate overnight then bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes. 6. Cut into squares and serve nut side up. |
