Overnight French Toast Souffle |

This has a wonderful taste and you can change it to fit even you pickest eaters by using a syurp or fruit they like.....enjoy Ingredients:
1/2 loaf white toasting bread or enough cubes to fill the dish (cut into 3/4 cubes & place in baking dish) |
4 oz. softened cream cheese |
4 lg. eggs |
1 c milk |
1/4 c cream |
1/2 t. vanilla |
1/2 c maple syrup |
1 t cinnamon |
1/4 c sugar |
dash of salt |
Directions:
1. Grease 8x8 baking dish 2. Beat cream cheese until smooth. 3. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mix till creamy. 4. Add remainder of ingredients and mix well. 5. Pour liquid over bread cubes. Press down with spatula - Be sure all bread has absorbed liquid. 6. Cover. Refrigerate overnight. This freezes well. 7. Allow soufflé to return to room temperature. Preheat Oven. 8. Bake at 350 degrees until set & golden brown. about 45 minutes 9. Place serving on a warm dinner plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. 10. Serve with Warm Maple Syrup or Homemade fruit sauce. |
