2 egg whites |
pinch salt |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
2/3 cup sugar |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
1 6-ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees for at least 20 minutes. 2. Beat egg whites, salt, and vanilla extract until soft (not stiff) peaks form. 3. Add sugar-1tbs at a time-continue beating until very stiff peaks have formed. 4. Add walnuts and chocolate chips. 5. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture on a large ungreased cookie sheet. 6. Turn off the oven. 7. Place the cookie sheet in the oven and leave overnight. Do not open oven until the next morning. |
