Overnight Caramel French Toast

A yummy make ahead caramel french toast
Ingredients:
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
12 slices sandwich bread
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
2. Pour syrup mixture into a 13 x 9 baking dish.
3. Place 6 slices of bread on top of syrup mixture. Top with remaining 6 slices of bread.
4. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt stirring until blended.
5. Pour egg mixture evenly over bread slices.
6. Cover and chill 8 hours.
7. Bake uncovered 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until lightly browned.
8. Serve immediately.
