hahahahaha........this really does have a great flavor.....your guest will love it Ingredients:
whisk the following ingredients into a batter |
1 quart eggnog |
3 tbsp. cinnamon |
1 tsp. clove |
1 tsp. nutmeg |
2 tsp. frangelica |
soak thick slices of hawain sweet bread in the mixture. |
Directions:
1. Topping: 2. 1 lb. fresh or frozen strawberries 3. 3 tbsp. Grand Marnier 4. Mix the sugar and Grand Marnier together in a bowl then add the strawberries and refrigerate overnight. 5. Let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature prior to serving. 6. Sear both sides of the bread in a non-stick pan, treated with cooking spray. 7. Preheat oven to 350 and bake bread on a cookie sheet for ten minutes. 8. Serve with a combination of the warmed strawberry topping and hot maple syrup. |
