Very versatile dessert-any fruit can be added (nectarines, papaya, mango, berries). This is delicious served with a dollop of whipped cream, on a slice of pound cake or on top of vanilla ice cream. A family favorite! Read more ! Ingredients:
6 peaches, pitted and cut into eighths |
6 plums, pitted and quartered |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 cups fresh raspberries |
2 tbsp. orange juice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. 2. Place peaches and plums snugly in a single layer, cut-side up, in a baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar and then add the raspberries. 3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until tender. 4. Heat the broiler and place the fruit about 5 inches below the heat and broil for 5 to 8 minutes until the berries release some of their juices. 5. Remove from the boiler and sprinkle with orange juice. 6. Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. |
