Oven-Roasted Fresh Corn on the Cob |

A recipe for the barbecue deprived. Ingredients:
6 -8 ears fresh corn on the cob |
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar |
butter |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450*F. 2. Leaving husks on corn, pull down and remove silks. 3. Soak ears for 10 minutes in sugared water to cover. 4. Replace husks and close with a twisting motion or tie closed with string. 5. Place the ears in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. 6. Remove husks prior to serving. 7. Serve with butter, salt and pepper. |
