From Betty Copeland There will be a tomato sauce around the meatballs when done, so I serve over additional plain rice. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup uncooked rice, not instant |
1/2 cup water |
1/3 cup chopped onion |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce |
3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix meat, rice, water, onion, salts, garlic and pepper. 3. Shape mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls into balls. 4. Place meatballs in ungreased 8 square baking dish. 5. Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over meatballs. 6. Cover with foil. 7. Bake 45 minutes. 8. Uncover. 9. Bake 15 minutes longer. |
