So simple and fast! I found this recipe on 1st Traveler's Choice Internet Cookbook. The recipe was submitted by United States Senator The Honorable Mary L. Landrieu, Louisiana. I loved this recipe when I found it since it didn't call for shrimp. This was so easy and I loved the taste Ingredients:
2 cups uncle ben converted rice |
2 lbs chicken, cut up |
1 lb sausage (i used smoked sliced in chunks) |
1 cup french onion soup (i used campbells) |
1 cup beef broth |
8 ounces canned tomato soup |
1/2 cup green onion, chopped (i used regular onion) |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
4 bay leaves |
pepper |
tony chacherie's creole seasoning, to taste |
parsley, to taste |
1/2 cup margarine, cut up into pats (1 stick) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a baking pan and place pats of margarine on top. 2. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. |
