This is the easiest and cleanest way to make bacon. The bacon cooks evenly and you can cook more at once. You'll never fry bacon in a skillet again! Learned from ATK and AB. Ingredients:
1 lb bacon, thick or thin cut, '16 slices |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400oF. 2. If you have a metal cooling rack with no coating, place it in a sheet pan, and place slices of bacon on the rack. If you do not have a rack, just place bacon slices directly into the sheet pan, being careful not to overlap slices much. I like to line the pan with foil first. 3. Bake bacon 10 to 15 minutes until crisp, rotating pan halfway through cooking. Transfer bacon to a plate lined with papertowels. |
