Oven Braised Fingerling Potatoes In Wine |

The unique flavor profiles are part of the pleasure of fingerling potatoes. They soak up more flavor and are enriched by wine, olive oil, herbs and/or spices. You will make these again and again!!! Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds fingerling potatoes |
1 teaspoon sea salt |
3 tablespoons dry white wine |
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
1 teaspoon herbs de provence (or any fresh herbs you like) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cut 1 1/2 pounds fingerlings in half lengthwise. 3. In shallow roasting pan, toss spuds with 1 teaspoon coarse salt, 3 tablespoons dry white wine and 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil. 4. Scatter with herbs de Provence and toss. Potatoes should be crowded in pan in single layer. 5. Cover and place in middle of oven 20 to 30 minutes or until very tender. 6. Serve immediately or reheat by placing cut side down on heated grill until a golden crust forms |
