This is an easy stew to make if you have a lot of people comming over. Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat |
4 -5 medium potatoes, cubed |
6 carrots, 1 inch pieces |
1 cup celery, 1 inch pieces |
1 (32 ounce) can tomatoes with juice |
1 package frozen peas |
1 slice bread, cubed |
4 medium onions, cut in chunks |
4 tablespoons tapioca |
4 tablespoons sugar |
salt and pepper |
2 beef bouillon cubes |
1/3 cup wine (or water) |
Directions:
1. Layer all ingredients in a large pot and cover. 2. Bake at 250 degrees for 5 to 6 hours. 3. Do not peek! |
