This was given to me by a friend and these ribs are delicious. They melt in your mouth and are great in the winter when it's too cold to go outside to cook!! You can use either country style, baby backs or regular pork ribs. I like to use the country style as they are meatier!! Ingredients:
4 lbs pork ribs |
2 cups ketchup |
3 cups brown sugar |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 cup prepared yellow mustard |
1 sweet onion, diced |
2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Roast the ribs at 375°F in a deep roasting pan for one hour. Drain the fat as needed. 2. Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for one hour. (I start both at the same time) 3. Pour sauce over the ribs, reduce the temperature to 300°F and continue baking for another hour. Baste occasionally with the sauce during baking. |
