Makes my mouth water! Ingredients:
4 lbs country-style pork ribs |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/3 cup chili sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons chopped onions |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon prepared mustard |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash bottled hot pepper sauce (optional) |
3 lemon slices (or 1 cap full of real lemon) |
Directions:
1. Simmer ribs in salt water, covered cut in pieces. 2. Meanwhile prepare sauce: In sauce pan melt 1 tablespoon of butter and simmer 1 clove a garlic, crushed. 3. Add ketchup, chili sauce, brown sugar, onion, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, celery seed, salt, hot pepper sauce, and lemon. 4. Bring all this to a boil and pour over drained ribs placed in a shallow pan. 5. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, basting often with sauce. |
