Oven Baked Southern Pork Loin |

Delicious Ingredients:
2 -2 1/2 lbs fresh pork loin, bone in |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine |
3 tablespoons tomato puree |
2 tablespoons cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons molasses |
Directions:
1. For basting sauce, saute onions and celery in the butter until soft. 2. Add tomato puree, vinegar and molasses. blend well. 3. Place meat on a roasting rack in pan. Bruch with part of sauce. 4. Bake at 350 for about 1 1/2 hours or unti pork is tender and juices run clear when periced with a fork. 5. Don't. 6. forget to brush the pork with the sauce from time to time during cooking for best flavor. 7. Cooking time depends on thickness of meat. |
