Oven Baked Sausage Casserole |

I got this recipe from an old cookbook I picked up at second hand shop. Ingredients:
1 lb bulk hot sausage |
1 medium red pepper, diced |
1 medium green pepper, diced |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
6 eggs |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon white pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a skillet, crumble sausage and cook until browned. Drain. Place in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. In same skillet, saute the vegetables, drain and layer over sausage. 3. Top with cheese. 4. Beat eggs, milk, garlic, salt and white pepper until frothy. Pour over cheese. 5. Bake for 35 minutes or until set. |
