This is a Crisco recipe and it is very good. Ingredients:
crisco nonstick cooking spray |
2 large idaho potatoes or 2 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into 1/4 inch slices |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper (i used less pepper) |
1/2 teaspoon paprika (i used about 1/4 teaspoon) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 45°. 2. Cover baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil. 3. Spray foil with Crisco no-stick spray. 4. Arrange potato slices on baking sheet. 5. Spray with Crisco spray. 6. Combine salt, pepper and paprika. 7. Sprinkle mixture on potato slices. 8. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. 9. Remove pan from oven. 10. Turn slices with a spatula. 11. Bake 5-7 minutes, longer, or until potato slices are lightly browned. 12. Serve immediately. |
