I love carrots and try to incorporate them into my daily diet. This is a recipe that my sister turned me on too and it is very good. Easy to make, pretty on the plate and excellent on taste. Enjoy Ingredients:
1-1/2 pounds carrots |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary |
1 teaspoon granulated sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 then line a jellyroll pan with aluminum foil. 2. Using sharp knife and cutting board clean and peel carrots then cut each carrot into 8 sticks. 3. Combine carrot sticks, olive oil, rosemary, sugar, salt and pepper. 4. Stir with rubber spatula until carrot sticks are evenly coated. 5. Dump carrots onto foil lined pan spreading sticks out as much as possible. 6. Bake 20 minutes then serve carrot fries hot or at room temperature. |
