Why have potato fries when you can have carrot fries. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb carrots |
1 tsp brown sugar |
2 tbsp olive oil |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill |
pinch of pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut carrots in half crosswise, then cut lengthwise, then cut lengthwise again. 2. In a mixing bowl , combine the carrot sticks, olive oi, dill, salt and pepper. 3. Stir until all are evenly coated. 4. Place carrots on a baking sheet, spreading sticks out as much as possible. 5. Bake for 20 minutes or until carrots are tender . 6. Serve hot. |
