A wonderful side dish to serve with any meal. A youth group favorite served at the Harvest Dinner. Served with turkey, ham, dressing, potatoes, cranberry salad, DEB'S CREAM CORN and dessert. Ingredients:
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels, thawed |
1 cup whipping cream |
1 cup milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
Directions:
1. DIRECTIONS 2. Place corn kernels, whipping cream, milk, salt, , sugar, in a sauce pan. 3. Bring to a slow, low boil beginning on medium heat, stirring frequently. 4. Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. 5. In a small saucepan on low heat Melt butter. 6. Whisk in flour until smooth. 7. Stir into the corn until well blended. 8. Heat. 9. This can be put into a crock pot and heated until ready to serve. |
