Originally from a cookbook, but now the kids will only accept the modified version and not the original. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons yellow mustard |
1/3 cup red wine vinegar |
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar |
2 teaspoons garlic |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 cup olive oil |
Directions:
1. Measure mustard into a bowl. Whisk in vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and herbs to taste. 2. Continue to whisk mixture while slowly dribbling in olive oil until mixture thickens. You do not have to add full 1/2 cup if you want to reduce it. |
