Beef, tomatoes, and green olives served over crusty rolls. We always asked Mom to make this when we were young. Serve with salad. Ingredients:
2 pounds boneless chuck roast |
2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes, chopped |
1 (8 ounce) jar pitted green olives, chopped, 1/3 of liquid reserved |
8 kaiser rolls |
Directions:
1. Place chuck roast, stewed tomatoes, and green olives with the reserved liquid into a slow cooker. 2. Cook 6 hours on Low, until the roast falls apart easily. Serve over kaiser rolls. |
