I never liked meatloaf (bland, yuk, I don't know...) BUT... ran across this recipe shortly after we were married & while I'd say it passes, my family loves it, and it has been on the menu regularly for 30 years. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/3 cup beef broth |
1 egg |
1 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs |
1/4 cup celery, minced |
1/2 cup onion, minced |
1/2 tablespoon parsley, chopped |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all, mix well. 2. Shape in loaf & place in baking dish. 3. Bake at 350 F for 35 - 40 minutes. |
