Great side dish with just about all meats-also makes a great midnight snack! Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups orzo |
one 10 oz package frozen chopped broccoli |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1/4 teaspoons salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook the orzo in a medium pot of boiling water until al dente according to the package directions. 2. Meanwhile, cook the broccoli according to package directions. 3. Drain the orzo. Drain the broccoli and press out the excess liquid. 4. In a medium bowl combine the orzo, broccoli, oilve oil, salt and pepper. Add the Parmesan Cheese and toss well to mix. |
