This pasta salad has all the flavours of a Greek salad. Great for a barbecue or any dinner party. Add grilled chicken to this salad and you have a complete meal. Shaped like rice, orzo pasta is the new take on pasta salad. Ingredients:
2 cups orzo pasta |
1/2 cup crisco canola oil or 1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, cut in half |
1 cup feta, crumbled |
1 cup bick's baby dill pickle, chopped |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orzo and cook until it is al dente, about 6-8 minutes, Drain and rinse with cold water until the pasta is room temperature,. 2. Place pasta in a large serving bowl, Add remaining ingredients. Stir well to combine. |
