very tasty. Beef stew meat, vegetables, and sweet and sour sauce make this one great stew. Ingredients:
2 lbs premium lean stewing beef |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1 (16 ounce) package frozen stir fry vegetables, thawed |
1 (10 ounce) can beefy mushroom soup |
1 (10 ounce) can beef consomme |
2/3 cup bottled sweet and sour sauce |
3 tablespoons beef seasoning |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, brown stew meat sprinkled with ! teaspoon black pepper, and place in slow cooker. 2. In a large bowl, combine vegetables, soup, consomme, sweet and sour sauce, beef seasoning, and 1 cup of water. 3. Pour over stew meat and stir well. 4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. |
