Believe it or not, this soup only takes about 10 minutes on the stove! Ingredients:
2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth |
1/4 cup dry sherry |
1/3 cup sliced celery |
2 scallions, sliced |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1/4 cup drained sliced water chestnuts |
4 medium fresh mushrooms, sliced |
1 (7 ounce) package frozen pea pods |
scallion, curls for garnish |
Directions:
1. In saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes. 2. Add mushrooms and pea pods. Simmer 2 minutes. 3. Garnish with scallion curl and serve. |
