Oriental Glazed Chicken for 2 |

This is kind of a vintage recipe from an old Betty Crocker cookbook. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs chicken pieces |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
2 tablespoons oil |
2 tablespoons chili sauce |
1/4 cup honey |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in baking pan, 9x9x2 inches. 2. Mix remaining ingredients; pour on chicken. 3. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning chicken occasionally. 4. Heat oven to 375 degrees. 5. Remove chicken; reserve marinade. 6. Place chicken on rack in foil-lined broiler pan. 7. Bake 30 minutes, brush with part of reserved marinade. 8. Turn chicken, bake until tender, about 30 minutes longer, brushing occasionally with remaining marinade. |
