Oriental Cabbage Salad

I don't know why it's considered oriental, but it's still delish!
Ingredients:
1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles (crush in package)
1 head medium cabbage, chopped
4 -5 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup almonds, toasted and chopped
salt, to taste
Directions:
1. Sprinkle salt over cabbage and onion.
2. Just before serving, toss with almonds and broken noodles.
3. Add a simple vinegar and oil dressing, if desired.
