A superb oriental tasting, crunchy salad. Ingredients:
dressing |
1/2 cup oil |
3 tbsps rice vinegar |
1/2 tsp sesame oil |
2 tbsps soya sauce |
1 tbsp sugar |
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped |
1/2 tsp salt and pepper |
salad |
1 bunch brocoli, into florets |
2 cups mushrooms, sliced |
2 green scallions, chopped |
2 cups chow mein noodles |
1/2 cup toasted almonds, sliced |
Directions:
1. Dressing: Mix all ingredients and refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour before serving. 2. Salad: Mix all ingredients together. 3. Add the dressing ONLY when you are ready to serve or the chow mein noodles will become soggy. |
