A step above plain old broccoli but very easy. Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli or 1 lb fresh broccoli (4 cups) |
1/2 cup water chestnut |
2 tablespoons margarine |
4 teaspoons soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Cook frozen broccoli according to directions on package or boil fresh for 8-10 minutes in small amount of water. 2. Add water chestnuts to the broccoli so that it gets hot. 3. Transfer to a serving bowl. 4. In pan used for cooking broccoli, melt margarine and add soy sauce. 5. Pour over broccoli, tossing to coat. |
