This is an unusual bread recipe which tastes almost like pizza. It would taste wonderful with cheese on top of it especially mozzarella. Just made it today for the first time and am very pleased with the results. Read more . I think it will make wonderful toast also. Ingredients:
1 cup water, tepid |
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons of the oil in which the sun-dried tomatoes were preserved |
1 tablespoon dried oregano |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 cups white bread flour |
1 teaspoon dried yeast |
Directions:
1. Place the ingredients in the order they are listed above unless your bread machine says otherwise. 2. I chose medium for the color of the loaf. 3. Set the program for basic or the same as white loaf of bread. 4. When the cycle has been completed, transfer the loaf to a wire rack and let cool. |
