bread with oregano taste to suit with holland steak and fried mashed potato Ingredients:
3-4 tsp baking powder |
500 gr flour |
1 egg (whisked first) |
1 egg yolk |
3 tsp salt |
40 gr sugar |
10 gr soy / milk powder |
30 gr butter |
235 cc water |
dried oregano |
Directions:
1. 1-use hand to mix flour,baking powder and salt. 2. 2-In the mean time use another bowl to mix sugar ,butter and whisked egg. 3. 3-Then use small glass to mix soy / milk powder and water , stir till smooth 4. 4-Add the mix bowl (2) with mix flour(1) and milk (3) step by step and stir with spatula till the dough becomes smooth. 5. 4-Wait about 30 minutes to let the dough settled. 6. 5-Form the dough as desired. Gloss the top with dried oregano and egg yolk 7. 6-wait for another 40-50 minutes to let the dough settled again 8. 7-Bake with traditional oven about 45-50 minutes |
