This is nothing short of decadent - a light orange flavour in the background of full-on white chocolate and buttery bliss. It's a great accompaniment to a dark chocolate ice cream or drizzled over strawberry filled crepes! Read more ! Recipe makes about 1 1/4 cups sauce, 10 two-tbsp servings. Ingredients:
1/2 cup table (coffee) cream (18%) |
2 tsp orange zest |
6 oz premium white chocolate (not chips), broken up |
2 tbsp salted butter |
Directions:
1. Combine cream and zest in a small pot and bring to just below a simmer, stirring. 2. Remove from heat and steep 10 minutes, strain. 3. In a double boiler over simmering water, combine white chocolate and butter until melted and looking slightly grainy. 4. Stir in warm, strained cream and cook 1 minute, stirring. 5. Allow to cool before bottling and storing in the fridge. |
