From Country Living Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) container rolled oats |
1 1/3 cups sliced almonds |
4 ounces whole raw cashews |
1/2 cup dark brown sugar |
1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
10 tablespoons butter |
1/3 cup maple syrup |
1 tablespoon maple syrup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside. Combine oats, almonds, cashews, sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl and mix well. Melt the butter over low heat in a small saucepan and stir in the maple syrup. Pour the butter mixture over the granola and toss to coat evenly. Spread the granola in an even layer on the prepared baking pan and bake until cashews are golden and oats are crisp - 15 to 20 minutes. Cool and store in an airtight container for 1 week or refrigerated for up to 1 month. |
