Ingredients:
2 cup(s) flour sifted |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1 tablespoon(s) baking powder |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
3/4 cup(s) unsalted butter, chopped |
2 eggs beaten |
1/2 cup(s) whipping cream |
2 tablespoon(s) melted butter |
1 tablespoon(s) orange zest |
Directions:
1. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is coarsely mixed. In separate bowl, combine eggs and cream, than add to flour mixture. Blend together gently. Place batter on lightly floured surface and kneed for one minute. Roll dough into rectangle, about 4x8 inches. Brush with melted butter and orange zest. Gently roll so you have an eight inch roll. Seal the seam by pressing and pinching with your fingers. Now cut your roll into 1 inch slices. Lat slices on lightly greased baking sheet. 2. Bake at 425' for 12-15 minutes. |
