1 lb pork loin, cubed |
1 cup chicken broth |
1 cup orange juice |
1 cup sliced onion |
1 cup red bell pepper |
1 cup green bell pepper |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/4 cup cold water |
salt and pepper |
3 cups cooked rice, kept warm |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt, pepper and rice in a slow cooker. 2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. 3. Turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes. 4. Combine cornstarch and water. Stir into stew. 2-3 more minutes. 5. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve over rice. |
