The pecans really give these a great flavor! Adjust the hot sauce to suit your tastes. Good as an appetizer or a main meal over rice. Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken wings |
3 eggs |
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed |
2 tablespoons water |
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
2 cups catsup |
3/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1 -2 tablespoon tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. Cut wings into 3 pieces; discard tips. 2. Whisk eggs, orange juice concentrate and water until mixed well. 3. Combine flour and pecans in a bag. 4. Dip wings in egg mix, then toss in flour-pecan mix. 5. Pour butter into a 15x10 inch baking pan. 6. Arrange wings in single layer in pan. 7. Bake, uncovered, at 375* for 25 minutes. 8. Combine sauce ingredients. 9. Spoon half over the wings; turn wings and spoon on the remaining. 10. Bake 30 minutes longer, until juices run clear. |
