These sound really yummy to go on any cookie tray :) Ingredients:
1 (18 1/4 ounce) package duncan hines moist deluxe orange cake mix |
1 (8 ounce) container low-fat vanilla yogurt |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, softened |
1 cup pecans, finely chopped |
1 cup pecan halves |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and grease baking sheets. 2. Combine cake mix, yogurt, egg, butter, and chopped pecans in a large bowl. 3. Beat at low speed with electric mixer until blended. 4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, on prepared baking sheets. 5. Press a pecan half into the center of each cookie. 6. Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown. 7. Cool for 1 minute on baking sheets, then remove to cooling racks and cool completely. 8. Store in airtight container. Makes 4 1/2 - 5 dozen cookies. |
