Two of my favorite things, pecans and citrus.. Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup brown sugar, packed |
2 large eggs, beaten |
1 tablespoon grated orange rind |
1/2 cup sour cream |
3 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted |
2 -3 tablespoons orange juice |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons grated orange rind |
Directions:
1. cream butter, and sugar, add eggs and rind and beat till fluffy - 2-3 minutes. 2. stir in sour cream, and blend in dry ingredients - 3. add nuts and drop of greased baking sheet - about 2 apart. 4. bake at 375* for 12 minutes. 5. ice with orange frosting when cooled. 6. ORANGE FROSTING:. 7. beat all icing ingredients for 2-3 minutes on medium speed - till of icing consistency. |
