Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar |
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, cut up |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1 large egg |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
2 cups biscuit mix |
1/3 cup orange marmalade |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients; cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly. 2. Beat 1/2 cup sugar and next 3 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Add biscuit mix, and beat until blended. Stir in marmalade and pecans. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling three-fourths full. Sprinkle with sugar mixture. 3. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from pans immediately, and cool on wire racks. |
