This came from America's Favorite Brand Name Holiday Recipes. I have not tried this, just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
2 eggs, lightly beaten |
3/4 cup smucker's simply fruit orange marmalade |
3/4 cup milk |
1/4 cup honey |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. 2. Into large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in nuts. In small bowl, combine eggs, marmalade, milk, honey and oil; blend well. Add to flour mixture; stir only until flour is well moistened (batter will be lumpy). Turn batter into prepared pan. 3. Bake 65-70 minutes or until lightly browned and wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on rack. |
