Orange Julius... a Special Twist on an Old Favorite |

When you think of orange julius, a drink with milk or cream, orange juice, and possibly egg is most likely what comes to mind. Although I have always considered myself an orange julius lover, that drink never existed until I googled it in hopes of finding a recipie for my favorite mall drink- a mouth-watering combination of orange, kiwi, and yougurt dubbed Orange Julius by California Fruit Shake & Yogurt Co. Disapointed by my search results and determined to create the drink I love, I concocted this recipe. I hope you enjoy it. Here's to the new Orange Julius! Ingredients:
2 oranges |
1 kiwi |
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt |
2 tablespoons low-fat vanilla yogurt |
12 ice cubes |
Directions:
1. Slice two oranges and put in blender. Do the same with a kiwi. Be sure to remove all seeds (for the oranges) and outer skin (for both). 2. Blend fruit with 1/2 cup, plus 2 tablespoons, of vanilla yogurt. 3. Finally blend in twelve icecubes. 4. Pour into glasses, relax, and enjoy. ^_^. |
