This makes a nice Christmas candy. A friend shared this recipe with me back in 1974. Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups vanilla wafers, crushed |
1/4 cup margarine, melted |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 cup nuts, chopped |
1/4 cup orange juice, frozen and defrosted |
2 tablespoons margarine |
2 cups powdered sugar |
milk, enough to make it spread |
Directions:
1. Mix and shape into small balls with hands. 2. Then dip balls in butter icing. 3. Roll balls in coconut and store in air tight container. |
