2 cups water |
1 cup orange juice |
1 teaspoon orange peel, grated |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup brown sugar (or use spenda brown sugar blend) |
2/3 cup grits, quick-cooking and uncooked |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan over medium heat bring water and orange juice to a boil. 2. Stir in grits, orange peel and salt into water/juice mixture. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook stirring for 3-5 minutes or until thickened. 3. Pour into serving dishes and sprinkle with brown sugar. Let stand until sugar melts. |
